Mark D. Janis is the Robert A. Lucas Chair and Professor of Law at Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he serves as Director of the Center for Intellectual Property Research. He teaches courses in patent law, trademark law, and intellectual property survey, and has authored seminal works in IP law including treatises and casebooks.
