- Education: PhD in Biophysics from the University of Pennsylvania (1986)
- Affiliations: Member of the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center and Cleveland Center for Membrane & Structural Biology
Research Interests: Integrates proteomics, structural biology, and systems biology to study disease mechanisms. Key areas include Alzheimer's pathology, cancer signaling pathways, and protein dynamics using advanced techniques like hydroxyl radical footprinting and synchrotron-based methods. His work bridges basic science with translational applications, including startup NeoProteomics, Inc.
Funding & Awards: Over $50M in NIH grants, including leadership roles in P30 and R01 projects. Recognitions include the Naomi Kanof Award and AAAS Fellowship.
