Dr. Mark Bruner is a Professor at Nipissing University, holding the Canada Research Chair (Tier II) in Youth Development through Sport and Physical Activity. He is affiliated with the Schulich School of Education within the Faculty of Education and Professional Studies. His research focuses on group dynamics, social identity, and positive youth development in sport and physical activity contexts. Bruner leads initiatives such as the Nipissing University Youth Development through Sport and Physical Activity Laboratory.
