Professor Mark Boylan is a Professor of Education at the Sheffield Institute of Education, part of Sheffield Hallam University, and Co-Head of Research and Innovation. His research focuses on evaluating large-scale professional development programs and policy initiatives in mathematics education and teacher professional learning. He holds qualifications including a BSc, PGCE, PhD, and SFHEA membership. His work emphasizes social justice pedagogies and critical teacher education, with expertise in mixed-methods research and process evaluation.
