Mark Bould is a Professor of Film and Literature at the Faculty of Arts, Creative Industries, and Education (ACE) at the University of the West of England. His research spans science fiction film, literature, and television, with a focus on the Anthropocene and climate destabilization, film noir, Afrofuturism, African speculative fiction, Marxism, and monstrosity.
