Gill Jamieson

Gill Jamieson is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Business and Creative Industries, University of the West of Scotland. She holds a PhD from 2001 focusing on screen space dynamics in television. Her research spans British television drama, Northern identity representation, transmedial adaptation between literature/film/TV, and costume design analysis in series like The Paradise and Mr Selfridge. She also explores film noir and crime cinema, including fan cultures at events like the Noir City festival.
