Mark Alexander Porter

Mark Alexander Porter is a Senior Lecturer in Web Design & Coding at the School of Digital Arts (SODA), Manchester Metropolitan University. He teaches across Web & User Experience (UX), Digital User Experience, and Future Digital Media programmes, emphasizing accessibility, technical performance, and web technologies. His expertise spans full-stack development, Web AR/XR, IoT, 3D printing, and distributed design through FabLab/Maker initiatives.

His pedagogic focus is on digital inclusivity and multi-modal approaches to course design, assessment, and feedback.
