Marjorie Rosenthal, MD, MPH, was an Associate Professor in Pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine and Co-Director of the National Clinician Scholars Program. She focused on addressing health inequities for vulnerable families through community-based participatory research, emphasizing collaboration between Yale and New Haven communities. Her work spanned pediatric health, public health policy, and improving healthcare delivery systems. Dr. Rosenthal earned her MD from Yale University School of Medicine and MPH from the University of North Carolina. She completed residencies at Johns Hopkins and a RWJF Clinical Scholars Fellowship. Her research explored child care providers’ roles in health promotion, group well-child care efficacy, and licensing improvements for childcare facilities.

Awards highlight her teaching excellence and community service, including the Elm City Ivy Award (2016) and posthumous Charles W. Bohmfalk Award (2021).
