Dr. Marjon Fokkens-Bruinsma is Associate Professor in Teacher Education at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences. Her research examines teacher motivation, resilience development, and wellbeing in educational settings. Current projects focus on technology-enhanced learning environments, crisis adaptation in education, and basic psychological needs interventions.
She leads research on mental resilience development for teacher candidates and PhD wellbeing assessment initiatives. Dr. Fokkens-Bruinsma serves as PhD mentor and teaches courses on educational psychology, teacher development, and research methods.
