Marium Afzal

Dr. Marium Afzal is a Physician Scientist specializing in family medicine and primary care at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW). She completed her medical degree at Wright State University and trained in family medicine at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. Prior to UTSW, she worked at CareNow urgent care for two years. Her clinical practice emphasizes holistic patient care, individualized treatment approaches, and comprehensive management of chronic conditions. Dr. Afzal performs various outpatient procedures including skin biopsies, cyst removals, and musculoskeletal injections, alongside preventive care and pediatric/women’s health services.
