Marion Lieutaud is an LSE Fellow in Computational Social Science and a visiting fellow at the International Inequalities Institute at the London School of Economics. She completed her PhD in Sociology at LSE in 2021 and was an associated doctoral fellow at the Centre March Bloch in Berlin (2017–2021). Her research focuses on gender, migration, and inequalities, combining quantitative and computational methods with qualitative approaches like interviews and archival work.
Marion’s work explores the gender division of labor and care in migrant couples, links between income inequality and care regimes, and challenges in intersectional inequality research. She collaborates with scholars such as Paul Segal (King’s College London) and Vincent Dubois (Sciences Po Strasbourg) on projects like parliamentary discourse analysis regarding welfare fraud. She received an Understanding Society Fellowship (2022–2023) for her contributions to social science research.
Her interdisciplinary approach bridges sociology, political science, and computational methodologies, addressing critical questions about migration trajectories, data quantification, and social reproduction. She is currently based in the Department of Methodology at LSE.
