Mario Jacomino

Mario Jacomino, M.D., M.P.H., is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Schmidt College of Medicine, Florida Atlantic University. He specializes in bridging clinical medicine with public health, focusing on maternal/child health and pediatric gastroenterology/nutrition disorders. His work includes teaching medical students and directing the Medical Post-Baccalaureate Program to enhance medical school competitiveness.

Research interests span epidemiology of vaccine-preventable diseases, preventive medicine, and global health. Recent collaborative projects address sociodemographic disparities in vaccine access and community health initiatives.
