Dr Marina Michalski is a Lecturer in Management at University of Essex, affiliated with the Essex Business School since 2011. She teaches Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour, and related subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Currently module leader for International Employment Relations in Context and Learning and Talent Development in Context, she also contributes to research on inclusion through decent work and sustainable HRM.

- BA in English Language and Literature (University of Sao Paulo, Brazil)
Her research explores:
- Contextual influences on HRM practices in the Global South
- Language-sensitive cross-national talent management
- Apprenticeship systems in England
- Capabilities approach to migrant work
- HRM professionals' identities in Brazil
Key research themes include skills development, labour market inclusion, and cultural contextualization in education and HRM. She has supervised:
