Marina Catallozzi, MD, MSCE, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Columbia University’s Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons and of Population and Family Health at the Mailman School of Public Health. She serves as Vice Chair for Education in the Department of Pediatrics, Director of Pediatric Medical Student Education, Track Director for the Medical Education Scholarly Projects, and Director of the General Public Health program at Mailman, co-leading the Sexuality, Sexual and Reproductive Health Certificate.
Her research focuses on adolescent and young adult access to confidential clinical preventive services, adolescent relationship violence, communication dynamics in clinical trial participation, and adolescent pregnancy prevention. She employs a strengths-based approach to patient care, programming, and research, maintaining an active adolescent medicine practice in Washington Heights.
