Marin Coerts is an Assistant Professor in Constitutional and Administrative Law at the Faculty of Law, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She specializes in empirical legal studies (ELS) focusing on government interventions in private sector licensing practices. Her research examines the rationale and consequences of regulatory measures imposed by governmental organizations.
