Mariette Jones is a Senior Lecturer in Law at Middlesex University, UK, affiliated with the Faculty of Business and Law and the Department of Law and Social Sciences. She serves as a module leader for Tort Law, UK Company Law (LLB), and Comparative Corporate Governance (LLM), while co-supervising PhD candidates. From 2019-2024, she led the LLB Programme. Her research focuses on freedom of expression, defamation, privacy law, and comparative legal frameworks, with notable work on UK online safety legislation and post-Apartheid South African legal reforms.
