Marielle Stel is an Associate Professor at the University of Twente, affiliated with the Faculty of Behavioural, Management and Social Sciences (BMS) and the Department of Psychology of Conflict, Risk and Safety (PCRS). Her mission is to empower individuals and society to enhance safety against physical threats (e.g., disasters, pandemics) and social threats (e.g., interpersonal risks). She focuses on risk communication and multi-level strategies to address sustainability challenges, particularly the protein transition.
