Marie Plassart

Marie Plassart is a Lecturer in English studies at Lumière Lyon-2 University, specializing in American political history and museum studies. Her research focuses on nationalism, socialism, and social movements in the United States, particularly through the lens of institutions like the Smithsonian Institution. She holds a PhD from Lyon 2 University (2009), examining how federal museums shaped American national identity post-1945.
