Marie Holmefur is a Professor of Occupational Therapy at Örebro University, part of the Department of Health Sciences within the School of Health Sciences. Her research focuses on enhancing everyday activities for individuals with disabilities, particularly through instrument development and interventions targeting cognitive and physical impairments. She holds a PhD in Pediatric Science from Karolinska Institutet (2009) and has held roles including Research Manager at Region Örebro County and Docent in Healthcare Sciences.
