Marie Andreoli, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Psychology in the Social and Behavioral Sciences department at the Turock School of Arts and Sciences, Keystone College. She joined Keystone in 1998 as Student Activities Director, then served as Director of Residence Life before transitioning to faculty in 2003. She also coordinates the Criminal Justice/Social Science program.
Dr. Andreoli holds a Ph.D. in General Psychology from Capella University, an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Marywood College, and a B.S. in Clinical Psychology from Marywood College.
Her research focuses on gambling behaviors, particularly among charity bingo players, as explored in her doctoral dissertation. She also has interests in adult development and aging, reflected in her coursework and recent certification in Geriatric Care Management. Her work addresses the psychological aspects of aging and caregiving, including support for families of Alzheimer’s patients.
Dr. Andreoli received the 2019 Margaretta Belin Chamberlin Chair for Distinguished Faculty Service award.
She has advised students such as 2017 graduate Brittany Miller. While specific grants are not detailed, her work in geriatric care and community support initiatives may involve collaborative efforts. She facilitates a caregiver support group for those caring for Alzheimer’s patients, beginning in Fall 2017.
