Dr Marianne Markowski is a Research Fellow at the University of Greenwich's School of Health Sciences and the Institute for Lifecourse Development, where she supports the Centre for Professional Workforce Development and Centre for Physical Activities and Rehabilitation. Her role encompasses research, teaching, and supervision across health sciences curricula. She specializes in interdisciplinary projects bridging technology, healthcare, and education.
Education:
- PhD in Practice-Based Research (Middlesex University, 2016)
- MA in Design for Interactive Media (1999)
Her research focuses on co-design methodologies, healthcare workforce development, technology-enabled interventions, intergenerational engagement, and educational innovation. She employs participatory approaches to develop solutions like the 'Teletalker' online video system for older adults.
