Maria Sibilia is Professor of Cellular and Molecular Tumorbiology and Director of the Center for Cancer Research at the Medical University of Vienna. Her research focuses on EGFR signaling mechanisms in cancer development, myeloid cell interactions, and immunomodulatory strategies to enhance therapy sensitivity for personalized cancer treatments.
Her research interests include:
- Molecular oncology and tumor microenvironment dynamics
- EGFR-mediated tumor progression pathways
- Myeloid cell-cancer cell interactions
- Immunotherapy resistance mechanisms
- Translational cancer research
She serves on biomedical research advisory boards and holds memberships in:
