Maria Romøren is an Associate Professor at the Centre for Medical Ethics at the University of Oslo's Faculty of Medicine, with additional affiliation at the Department of General Medicine. Her work spans across geriatrics, medical ethics, mental health, and infectious disease research, demonstrating a strong commitment to improving healthcare practices through evidence-based approaches.
Romøren's research interests focus on nursing home medicine with particular emphasis on intravenous treatment protocols and ethical issues in healthcare.
