Anja Maria Lyche Brænd is an Associate Professor at the Department of General Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Oslo. She serves as Head of the National Research School in General Practice and works as a health center doctor. Her academic career at UiO includes earning her Cand. med. degree in 2007 and completing her Ph.D. in 2018.

Her research focuses on antibiotic use in primary health care, general medicine drug research, and medical education.
