Maria Pilar Torrente Paños

Maria Pilar Torrente Paños is an Associate Professor at the Department of Plant Biology, Faculty of Biology, Universidad de Murcia. Her research focuses on Algae Biology and Ecology, with affiliations to the Biology, Ecology and Evolution of Bryophytes and Spermatophytes group and the Mycology-Mycorrhizae-Plant Biotechnology group. She holds a doctoral degree from the Universidad de Murcia, completing her thesis on "La familia Opegraphaceae (sensu Eriksson et Hawksworth 1986) en la Península Ibérica y norte de África" in 1987.
