Maria Luskay is a Professor in the Department of Media & Communication Arts at Dyson College of Arts and Sciences, Pace University. She teaches courses in screenwriting, digital editing, documentary production, and media studies, and is based in both the Westchester (Pleasantville) and NYC campuses. She actively mentors students and leads the annual 'Connections in Communications' event, fostering professional engagement.

Her recent works, including Viola da Terra: Harmony of the Azores and Curaçao’s Coral Challenge, reflect a strong commitment to cultural preservation and ecological advocacy. The films span international locations and are produced with student collaboration, highlighting interdisciplinary and experiential learning.

She is actively involved in departmental, college, and university service committees, including diversity, technology, and global initiatives.
She leads the student documentary team PaceDocs and promotes student work through the Pace Channel on YouTube, Vimeo, and Google Video. Her work bridges academic instruction with real-world media production and community outreach.
