Prof. Dr. Maria Lukatskaya is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering at ETH Zürich. Her research focuses on electrochemical energy systems, with a specialization in advanced materials for energy storage and conversion. She leads investigations into MXene nanomaterials, battery electrolytes, and sustainable CO₂ reduction technologies. Her work bridges fundamental materials science with practical applications in renewable energy systems and medical imaging enhancement.
Her research interests include the design of novel electrochemical interfaces, the development of high-performance electrode materials, and the optimization of ion transport mechanisms in energy storage devices.
