Maria LaRusso is a developmental psychologist and interdisciplinary researcher at the University of Connecticut. Her work integrates perspectives from human development, psychology, health, education, and anthropology, with a focus on Bioecological Systems Theory to study how individual development interacts with familial, educational, and societal contexts. She brings clinical expertise from her training in structural family therapy and prior experience as a child and family therapist.
