Maria Euchner is a Senior Fellow and FYP Associate Director (Academic) at the Foundation Year Program, Dalhousie University. She holds a BA in Classics and German from the University of King’s College (1999), an MA in German from Dalhousie (year not specified), and a PhD from the University of Toronto, focusing on discourses of forgetting in Elektra. Her research explores 18th-20th century German and Austrian thought, opera studies, animal studies, visual studies, music-literature adaptation, fin-de-siècle culture, Expressionism, Weimar culture, and Contemporary Studies.
