Dr. Maria Cavalcanti is an Assistant Professor of Jurisprudence at Tilburg University's Department of Public Law and Governance within the Tilburg Law School. Her research focuses on comparative constitutional law, legal pluralism, minority rights, multiculturalism, Islamic law, and climate change litigation. She holds a PhD in Civil Economy and Governance from Lumsa University of Rome and has worked as a post-doctoral researcher and lecturer in comparative constitutional law.
