Maria Betto

Maria Betto is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Johns Hopkins University's Krieger School of Arts & Sciences. She specializes in Microeconomic Theory, with research focusing on Choice and Decision Theory, Auctions, and Mechanism Design. She holds a PhD in Economics from Northwestern University (2024), alongside prior degrees from Fundacao Getulio Vargas (FGV) in Brazil, including a B.A. (2014, valedictorian) and M.Sc. in Business Economics (2017).
