Margot Francis is an Associate Professor at Brock University with joint appointments in Sociology and Women’s & Gender Studies. Her research examines Indigenous resurgence through art, anti-racist/anti-colonial activism challenging sexual violence, and queer intersectional approaches to sexualities. Current projects include Body/Land/Sovereignty (photography with Six Nations youth), BIPOC student activism analysis, and racial/sexual violence experiences of international students.
