Jennifer Brant, a Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk Nation) scholar with family ties to Six Nations and Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory, is an Associate Professor in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto. Her work centers on Indigenous Maternal Pedagogies, cultural safety, and creating anti-racist educational frameworks through Indigenous literature.
