Margot Finn

Margot Finn is a Lecturer in the University Courses Division at the University of Michigan. She specializes in teaching interdisciplinary courses that connect food studies with the liberal arts, emphasizing critical thinking and contemporary food debates. Her research focuses on the history of U.S. food systems and popular food beliefs from the 1880s to the present.

Her current book project, Discriminating Taste: How Class Anxiety Created the American Food Revolution, examines the influence of class anxieties on the modern food movement since 1980.
