Margo A. Bagley
Margo A. Bagley is the Asa Griggs Candler Professor of Law at Emory University School of Law. She returned to Emory in 2016 after a decade at the University of Virginia School of Law, where she held the Hardy Cross Dillard Chair. She also served as the Hieken Visiting Professor in Patent Law at Harvard Law School in 2022.

Research & Expertise
Her research focuses on comparative patent law, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, access to medicines, and the intersection of religion and intellectual property. She advocates for inclusive innovation frameworks and has co-authored three books, with a fourth in progress. Margo is a co-inventor on three patents.
