Margit Sutrop is a Professor of Practical Philosophy at the University of Tartu, holding a 0.5 appointment. She is also a Member of the Estonian Parliament. Her academic roles include serving as Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Head of the Institute of Philosophy and Semiotics. She has held visiting positions at the Helsinki Collegium for Advanced Studies.
