Eveli Neemre is an academic researcher at the University of Tartu, currently serving as an Analyst at the Johan Skytte Institute of Political Studies (Faculty of Social Sciences) and a Junior Research Fellow in Philosophy at the Institute of Philosophy and Semiotics (Faculty of Arts and Humanities). Her research focuses on the philosophy of science, particularly objectivity in animal research, interdisciplinary methodologies, and the ethical dimensions of scientific practice.
Neemre holds a Master's Degree in Philosophy from the University of Tartu (2017), where she also pursued doctoral studies under the supervision of Prof. Endla Lõhkivi and Dr. Jaana Eigi. Her academic career includes administrative roles such as organizing international workshops on philosophy of science, including events dedicated to Rein Vihalemm's legacy and interdisciplinary research evaluation challenges.
