Margherita Pasini is an Associate Professor in Psychometrics at the University of Verona's Department of Human Science. She has been a member of the academic staff for the PhD course in Organisation Psychology since 2005 and has served as Director of this PhD program since 2012. Her academic work spans multiple departments and programs across the university, teaching courses in Psychology for Training and Professional Development, Psychological Sciences for Training and Professional Development, Social Work, and Human Sciences PhD programs.
Her research interests focus on Psychometrics, Organizational Psychology (particularly workplace well-being, psychosocial risks, safety climate, and diversity management), Environmental Psychology (restorativeness of physical environments and workplaces), cognitive processes related to Information and Communication Technology, and emotions in learning contexts. She directs the Applied Psychology Measurement Lab (APsyM Lab) at the University of Verona, which investigates theoretical aspects of measurement, research design, and data analysis in psychology.
Pasini is an active researcher with numerous projects spanning from 2005 to present, including studies on job insecurity, workplace restorativeness, emotional competence development, and safety climate assessment. She has served on multiple departmental committees including the Ethics Committee for Human Sciences, the QA Management Group, and various teaching boards across departments.
Professionally, she is a member of the Italian Psychological Association (AIP) in both the Experimental Psychology section (since 2002) and Organizational Psychology section (since 2009), the European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology (EAWOP) since 2009, and the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP) since 2013.
