Prof. Margareth Lanzinger is a Professor of Economic and Social History at the University of Vienna, specializing in historical anthropology, gender history, and the socio-material dynamics of Alpine regions. She leads the Research Group 'Figurations of Inequality' and edits the journal Historische Anthropologie. Her work examines topics like kinship systems, property regimes, and administrative practices from the 16th to 19th centuries.
