Margaret Zienkiewicz

Margaret Zienkiewicz serves as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Management and Pre-Law Coordinator at Carthage College, bringing 20 years of litigation experience from the Wisconsin State Public Defender's Office where she specialized in racial disparity assessment across criminal justice systems. Her transition to academia in 2020 builds on recurring teaching roles as Mock Trial coach and legal educator.

Her research centers on systemic inequities in criminal justice, with expertise in racial disparity analysis, implicit bias mitigation, and juvenile law reform. She develops practical responses to racial anxiety through evidence-based frameworks derived from her coordinator role assessing disparity patterns and designing intervention strategies.

Prof. Zienkiewicz has earned distinguished recognition including:

Her mentorship extends to developing trial advocacy skills through structured competition frameworks.
