Margaret Ryan

Margaret Ryan is a Clinical Professor at the Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health & Human Longevity Science at UC San Diego. She holds dual board certifications in General Preventive Medicine/Public Health and Occupational Medicine. Her research focuses on military and occupational health, infectious diseases, immunizations, and epidemiology. Ryan leads the US Millennium Cohort Study, a longitudinal investigation assessing the health impacts of military service.

Education: MD from George Washington University School of Medicine, MPH from Uniformed Services University, and BA in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
