Margaret MacDonald

Margaret MacDonald is Associate Professor of Anthropology at York University's Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies. As a medical anthropologist, she investigates how biomedical, technological, and scientific cultures shape reproductive health practices, gender dynamics, and maternal welfare systems. Her ethnographic fieldwork spans global maternal health policy, Senegalese NGO operations, and Canadian midwifery practices.
