Professor Margaret Fletcher is a faculty member at the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow, holding the title of Professor of International Business (Management). She previously served as Head of the Management Subject (2021-24) and contributed to the School's Athena Swan Gender Equality initiative. Her research focuses on internationalisation processes of firms, SME policy, and engaged scholarship. She has held leadership roles in academic organisations like the Academy of International Business (AIB), including vice-chair of Teaching Innovations for the AIB Teaching and Education SIG.
Her academic work spans over three decades, with notable contributions in International Business Review, Journal of World Business, and Journal of International Management. She has received awards such as the Lazaridis Institute/EIBA Best Paper Award (2020) and the Journal of International Marketing Cavusgil Award (2013).
