Margaret Brogan serves as an adjunct lecturer in Labor and Employment Law at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law and St. Joseph's University, Philadelphia. A full-time labor and employment arbitrator and mediator since 1990, she served as President of the National Academy of Arbitrators (NAA) in 2016-2017 and holds permanent panel appointments with Major League Baseball, the NHL, American Airlines, United Airlines, UPS, San Francisco City/County, and Kaiser Permanente.
Her educational credentials include:

- B.A. from St. Joseph’s University
Her professional expertise centers on labor and employment law systems, with specialized focus on dispute resolution mechanisms in unionized and non-unionized workplaces. She examines how arbitration frameworks interact with employment regulations across transportation, healthcare, sports, and public sector industries.

- 2016 Peggy Browning Award recipient
Ms. Brogan currently chairs the NAA Outreach Initiative—a national program mentoring emerging arbitrators to diversify the field—and previously led the NAA Membership Committee in reforming professional standards. She also serves on the CLEL’s 3rd Circuit Credentialing Committee, evaluating attorney qualifications for labor law practice.
