Mareike Maage is an artist and radio producer with academic and professional experience in experimental radio and media arts. She held a Lecturer position at the Bauhaus-University Weimar (2007–2010) within the Faculty of Art and Design, Department of Fine Arts. Currently, she serves as Assistant Director at the North German Broadcasting Corporation (NDR) and a Writer at the West German Broadcasting Corporation (WDR).
Education:

- Bachelor/Master equivalent in Fine Arts (2005), Bauhaus-University Weimar, specializing in Experimental Radio, Radio Play, and Radio Art
Research & Art: Maage focuses on innovative radio formats, cross-cultural collaborations, and experimental sound art. Notable works include the campus radio 'Bauhaus.FM' (founded 2002), the award-winning radio production 'Thought and its Country' (2004), and a bilingual radio drama co-production between NHK (Japan) and NDR (Germany). She has exhibited internationally and held research positions at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music (2006).
