Professor Marcus Stoodley is a leading academic in Neurosurgery at Macquarie University Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. He specializes in neurovascular surgery, with expertise in managing aneurysms, vascular malformations, and cerebral bypass surgery, particularly for moyamoya disease. He is internationally recognized for his work on Chiari malformation, syringomyelia, and spinal cord tumors. He completed his medical training at the University of Queensland, followed by subspecialty training at Stanford University and the University of Chicago.
