Dr. Marcos Oliveira serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Faculty of Science, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, with a dual appointment at the Network Institute. His interdisciplinary research bridges computational methods with societal challenges, focusing on network analysis, swarm intelligence, and real-world applications in crime prevention and human behavior modeling.
