Marco Pantoja is an Assistant Extension Professor in the Management Department at the Trulaske College of Business, University of Missouri. He serves as Co-Director of the Center for Economic and Financial Management and is affiliated with multiple key programs. His roles include managing the MOTax Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, supporting low-to-moderate-income households with free tax services, and leading the TRiO Personal Finance Coaching initiative for first-generation, low-income, and disabled students.
- Education: BS in Financial Counseling, MS in Personal Financial Planning (Accredited Financial Counselor, AFC®).
- Leadership: Executive Manager of the Community Health Workers Association of Missouri (CHWAM), fostering professional development for community health workers.
Research interests focus on economic accessibility, financial literacy, and bridging gaps in tax and health services for underserved populations. His work integrates public policy, community outreach, and financial education to drive equitable outcomes.
