Marco Di Giulio is a Professor of Hebrew Language and Literature and Public Health at Franklin & Marshall College. He holds a PhD from the University of Florence, Italy, and conducted graduate work at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His research focuses on disability history in Israel, the history of the Hebrew language, and Israel studies. He currently chairs the Division on Disability Studies at the Association for Jewish Studies and serves on the Board of Directors of the Disability History Association.

Research interests include disability policy in Israel's formative years, the vernacularization of Hebrew, and intersections of language revival with public health. His book manuscript explores disability as a conceptual framework in early Israeli statehood.
Grants and fellowships include a 2022 Association for Israel Studies Travel Grant and a 2013 Dorset Fellowship at Oxford. His work appears in journals such as Journal of Social History and Journal of Israeli History.
