Dan Arbell serves as a scholar-in-residence at the Center for Israeli Studies at American University, leveraging 25 years of diplomatic experience from the Israeli Foreign Service. His distinguished career includes roles as Deputy Chief of Mission at the Israeli Embassy in Washington D.C. (2009-2012), Deputy Chief of Mission in Tokyo (2001-2005), and Chief of Staff to Ambassador Itamar Rabinovich during Syria negotiations (1993-1996).
